Kiluk’s handcrafted clothing by local seamstresses showcases the beauty and artistry of traditional Inuit clothing while using modern techniques and equipment to ensure our exacting standards and quality are maintained.

Opened in Arviat in 1996, Kiluk has 3 full-time employees and produces fine fur and leather clothing. Our exclusive clothing lines make extensive use of traditional materials, including northern leather and sealskin furs. We offer a wide range of products including jackets, vests, clothing accessories, decorative wall hangings and a variety of Christmas ornaments and accessories. Kiluk creations combine traditional materials and design with innovative modern craftsmanship to create durable products with a unique Northern flair.

Our distinctive designs were recognized in the selection of Kiluk to design and create uniforms for the pages serving in the Nunavut Legislative Assembly. Our designs have also been showcased at the annual North American Fur and Fashion Exposition in Montreal.

Kiluk is located next to the Padlei Inns North hotel, and is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and also by special appointment for group tours.
